A Spyder Pilot ACS is most likely the cheapest fully auto capable marker you could buy. They can be bought new for under $100 if you do a little browsing. Beings your new to the sport I will tell you many paintball field don’t allow the use of anything other than Semi auto. Thus, you may not even get to use the full auto or burst modes on the marker at all. It only takes one mark the size of a quarter to be out, not 30 hits. A much better marker than the Pilot would be a Smart Parts Vibe http://www.actioncenterpaintball.com/paintball/pc/viewPrd.asp?idcategory=32&idproduct=1019 or SP1 http://www.actioncenterpaintball.com/paintball/pc/viewPrd.asp?idcategory=32&idproduct=1020. They are low pressure electropneumatic operated, thus they are quieter, have less recoil, wear out slower, and more efficient on gas.
When using a marker in full auto on CO2 you will experience major velocity drops and each paintball will go a shorter distance and be less likely to break on target. You will also begin freezing the internals of the marker and if you continue firing you can face some fairly serious damage to the marker that will put you out of the game until you fix it. The most common is freezing your O-rings, doing this will cause them to become brittle and become damaged much easier. It’s not a huge problem, but it can put you out of a game until you replace them. Using HPA/N2 instead of CO2 will fix these problems, however HPA/N2 tanks cost much more than CO2. A 20oz. CO2 tank will give you an average of 1100 shots per fill. to get about the same number of shots using HPA you will need to use a 68/4500 HPA tank. They will run you about $150+ new.

I got myself a Marlin 981t bolt action that holds 17 rounds if they are 22lr, 25 rounds if they are 22short.
I made some home made "speed loaders" from plastic tubes and foam ear plugs.

Five shots, 4 hits and one to reset. The Marlin is sweeeet! I did the 5 shots in about 40 seconds. I do it again, about 30 seconds. I realize a bunch of people are looking at me. I did it as fast as I could, about 25 seconds. There’s still two shots left in the rifle. I’m 25 hits for 25 shots, open sights.
The range officer asks me to empty the gun and not come back until tomorrow! I broke the "no rapid fire rule". I didn’t know they had one! I’m tuning up to join the metallic silhouette league that runs 8 matches, March, April, May, June then August, September, October, November. One match a month.
Like I said, it is sweeeet. It was $189.99 the dealer cleaned it and laser sighted it for 25 yards before I picked it up.
Isn’t the whole point to do this fast? Why do you think they REALLY kicked me out. Do you shoot silhouettes? How fast is fast? Thanks.

You must be in a blue state. Even in the purple state of Pennsylvania (Blue in Philly and Pitt, pretty Red everywhere else) people get worked up over magazines over 10 rounds. Dumping the home made speed loader of 17 rounds would freak me out. Hitting a 1" target at 25 yards is OK, but if it was something I graded, it would only be a C-.
