I just need a little information about paintball guns.
PMI is a brand/company. Stands for Pursuit Marketing Inc. They were absorbed into what is now considered Empire, which is owned by KEE Action Sports (some huge sports conglomerate).
GTI is a particular model of Piranha, a marker made by PMI. I don’t know what GTI stands for, though. If i had to guess, it could just be adapted from the racing term, "Grand Touring – Injection." How that would translate into the Piranha GTI, i have no clue, aside from sounding cool.

I want to be a wildlife photographer so i need a camera that can focus fast and take pictures fast. E.g an owl flying down to perch on a tree branch.I also need a lens that will give me highly detained photos.
For wildlife photography you will want a camera with lots of autofocus points and a high burst rate. For wildlife and sports I use the Canon 7D (18mp, 8fps, 19 af points). If you like Nikon, the D7000 is a great choice (16mp, 6fps, 39 af points). For lenses, you will ideally want L series lenses with image stabilization and a fast focusing motor (USM for Canon). I’m not familiar with Nikon lenses, but the same basic rules apply. If you’re on a budget, get the best quality lens you can afford that has image stabilization and USM. USM = Ultra Sonic Motor.
Usually I recommend better lenses before a better camera body, but in this case the body is just as important for getting that perfect shot.
I hope this helps. Good Luck.

I am 18 years old and i reaaalllly want to try motocross. I’ve never really been into sports. But ever since i saw this movie called Motocrossed, I’ve been kinda obsessed about this sport. I think the okmw reason my parents don’t want me doing this sport is because they are afraid i’ll get hurt. i am also sort of a girly girl. I know i’m going to fall down but i’m ok with that. Any idea how i can get them to let me try it?
well it might take some rebellious actions but if you are 18, they cant control. yes the might fund your college payments or car payment or food. But get a job, save up enough money, buy a bike, and tell them. They might get pissed, but they cant just cut off all your funds or love for you just because you bought a bike with your own money. you worked hard for it

Say so in your answer maybe well get some attention.
PAINTBALLERS UNITE
thats what i tell my mom, its a lifestyle
click he interesting star please
click the freakin star people
The ONLY reason I initially joined Yahoo Answers was for another resource in Paintball knowledge.
Last time I checked Paintball, in its many forms, was one of the fastest growing sports in the World…Thats right…WORLD… its HUGE!
I enjoy many other aspects of YA now, but I still see, (and try to answer) MANY paintball related questions on here on a daily basis.
YA should definitely recognize the need for a Paintball specific section!
PAINTBALLERS UNITE!
Hit that little STAR Icon that tells YA and the World that YOU find this an interesting question….the more STARS the higher rating YA gives the question…enough STARS, they might actually notice and take action.
This subject has been brought up before.

Hi everyone.
I can barely find any Wing Chun fighting videos. I would like to see it in action. Please link me.
I am planning on going to a Wing Chun school some time to check things out for myself, but until then, I’d like to know more about it’s effectiveness through the power of the interwebs.
Also, please don’t get angry by assuming that I don’t believe it to be effective.
Very few schools train in an effective manner, they have the same problem by and large as many places ie a huge focus on static drill training that has a complying partner throwing a known punch under which the defendant does a sequence of moves & not on effectively applying this to a moving resisting opponent.
That doesn’t mean there aren’t some serious trainers in it (Bruce Lee started off with this art for eg though he never did become largely profecient in it). Merely that many schools of it do not realistically train & will try reel you in with flashy moves. Also as far as im aware it doesn’t train in a sports environment thus there would be few videos of combat on YT, rather demos & lessons etc

I do a lot of sports and action photography, specifically snowboarding and skateboarding. What is a good quality wireless flash trigger that will work with my Nikon D3100? I would like something compact and light weight to avoid any clutter in my backpack. Any suggestions and/or stores/links would be helpful. Thanks in advance.
Amazon has a non OEM remote that has been rated highly & cost less than Nikon’s unit. Keep in mind the wire less function works only in line of sight.

I can understand why best actor/actress in a drama is different than best actor/actress in a comedy because the two are very different and hard to gage with proper perspective. But why are the different individual acting awards separated by sex? Shouldn’t we just have awards for best thespian in a ______ (insert show type). This isn’t like sports where physically, its very difficult to have men and women play together. Acting would seem to be a level field right?
It is now, but it wasn’t traditionally. In certain genres, actresses used to have a completely different job from actors.
It’s only since characters like Ripley and Lara Croft have come along that women have got to play action leads, for example, and those roles are still pretty rare.
I guess the academies and other givers of awards are always going to be behind the trend, but I wouldn’t be surprised if eventually there is only one award for best actor, regardless of gender.

I have a 14,16 yr old girls and 13 yr old boy. What would be some good video games to buy for them? They have a playstation 2s. Any help would be appreciated!
Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.
Probably the most well liked and popular game on the PS2.
Madden or FIFA games if they like sports.
Possibly SOCOM: Navy Seals if they like action games.
Or for less violent platformers (Mario like games) I’d suggest Jak and Daxter

I’m a horseback rider and like taking pictures of horses jumping at shows. I have found that indoor pictures especially are almost always blurry on the sports setting as well as most outdoors. I’m not super familiar with photography or cameras yet so sorry if this is a stupid question but i just feel like capturing clear action shots with a $600 camera should be possible and a lot easier than it has been. Thanks for all the help 🙂
The first situation to consider is the lighting–
The second situation is the subjects distance..
If your having a blur appear..you need to get closer..
You may also need to use a Shutter-Speed..of 1/500
A ZooM Lens requires more light..than a shorter Lens..
Consider shooting less ZooM..and Cropping your original..to achieve Zoom/
Large Resolution will give poor results in low light–
You might trry–>>1600 x 1200 [M3}..NOT Wide Screen..
Use a TriPod..and a Shutter-cable switch..
My camera has a 2-second TIMER–you might try that–on a TriPod..
I’ll use my 10-second TIMER on a TriPod for very difficult image capture..
But I would imagine 10-seconds would be a MISS–on all photo’s.
