Express Action Sports

I like games like gears of war, DiRT…….u know, action packed games, and really good sport games……all with a lot of action…..please recommend

Call of Duty 4; great online play and a pretty good campaign.

Bioshock; no onlive play, but a fantastic story and campaign mode.

Halo3; good campaign, and online play

Marvel Ultimate Alliance; for comic fans or action RPG fans fun game.

Dead Rising; Another fun action RPG/Survival Horror game, with lots of replay ability.

NCAA Football; always a good choice.

Never been too big a fan of this genre aside from ssx, and i’m trying to get into it. I put the Action Sports game at a higher priority than just sport games though. Any suggestions to get me started.

I would definately check out Modern Warfare 2 when it comes out in November. Also, there is in fact a painballing game called NPPL Championship Paintball 2009, however I have not played it myself. Perhaps rent it to check it out before you make a purchase.

I mean they have been way too many of these games and we need more games aren’t shooters like rpg , side scrollers , platformers , action adventure , racing , sports , other types of games that was killing this generation for me because developers is focusing one thing is shooters and they know easy to make and there the money is because people of today only play is shooters nothing else which sucks back then people played different type of games not just shooters which people do nowadays .

Cause there are just too many people that like shooters

Before i played Warcraft, Starcraft, Age of Empires 1&2, Stronghold 2, Rise of Nations, Age of Mythology

There were many Strategies but now there are more Turn Strategies rather then RTS’s
Like recent RTSs are Starcraft 2 and AOE3

Yes there are other genre, like Total War, Civilization, Action WW2 games but no RTS

Everything will be ok, with RPG, Action games, Racing, Sport games(come out annually)

BUT NOT STRATEGIES, PEOPLE just became d*mn
So now i play RTS’s on those 2007-2009 graphics

Im going to get one and wonder what games i should get

I would try madden 08 good graphics the online play pretty good 2 tons of teams to choose from even teams from over the world.

gta games are perfect action games. if you want sport games try EA games. you coukd download some games from rapidshare.com and www.ddl2.com

I am a hardcore video game player and I have played almost every genre available. My favorite ones are action, adventure, and RPG’s. However, I can not understand why sports games like Madden and NBA 2k-whatever are being hailed as some of the "best" games ever created. Most places, in this day and age, would almost NEVER consider a sports game to be game of the year. My thinking is why would you play it on a console when you can just go outside or to a gym to play the sport. I just want some reasonings why someone would love this genre and PLEASE do not just say it is because of their tastes.

I completely agree with you on this one buddy, I play video games to shoot the fuck out of aliens, or fly like a superhero, or something interactive that’s very fun, to be out of the ordinary and not something you could just go out and do in real life.

So I suppose if you’re that much of a fat loser that there’s no chance you could ever play any sport, then maybe sport games would be up your aisle 😀
