I dont have a lot of money on hand and im looking for an enjoyable paintball experience with out getting slaughtered for not having any good gear so is there anywhere i can get some partially decent gear that will at least accomodate to the beginner at paintball??
ANS Gear and Action Village has great deals on starting set-ups and complete packages with free shipping.
Check your local Craigslist. There are always people selling their paintball gear for one reason or another — upgrading, getting out of the sport, etc.
eBay is decent but keep in mind that although some sellers may seem to offer lower prices, double check and see how much they are charging for shipping.

I am 18 years old and i reaaalllly want to try motocross. I’ve never really been into sports. But ever since i saw this movie called Motocrossed, I’ve been kinda obsessed about this sport. I think the okmw reason my parents don’t want me doing this sport is because they are afraid i’ll get hurt. i am also sort of a girly girl. I know i’m going to fall down but i’m ok with that. Any idea how i can get them to let me try it?
well it might take some rebellious actions but if you are 18, they cant control. yes the might fund your college payments or car payment or food. But get a job, save up enough money, buy a bike, and tell them. They might get pissed, but they cant just cut off all your funds or love for you just because you bought a bike with your own money. you worked hard for it

I’ve noticed that over 15 years of gaming, there is lava in nearly very video game that I play. Is there a reason for this? The only games that I’ve played that doesn’t have lava in it is Pikmin 1 & 2. Has anyone noticed this odd trend in gaming?
Of all the games I played since the SNES all the way to the Ps3, About 75% of the games I owned has lava in it. I guess every developer of the games with lava in them think having volcanoes and fire is cool. Only games that I know that don’t have lava in them are Saints Row, Grand Theft Auto, Red Dead Redemption, etc. (any games made by Rockstar). A lot of sport titles (since they involve sports and not action) don’t have lava in them either.

I am looking for a research list of the fastest growing hobbies and sports. I’m thinking paintball, poker, extreme sports. Things along these lines, but that is with no statistics or science. If you have any opinions from personal experience or even better a url for a research report, it would be greatly appreciated.
I actually think besides those extreme stuff, there are a lot of people conforming to hobbies especially examples like guitar and lacrosse. I stress the hobby guitar because In my school, I know a lot of people who play guitar, almost over 20, mostly because other people start it and other people think it’s cool; so these kind of hobbies seem to be more of conformity and cause of impressment instead of just doing it for the joy of it. However, as time passes, I think people who learn the guitar start to enjoy it more for its own utilization instead of impressing others and conforming to others. I would know, I think I went through this phase myself. With lacrosse, it is possible to join it without tryout unless it’s for varsity, I think that’s the reason why so many people join it (I don’t want to offend lacrosse players, so correct me if I’m wrong)

I need some help on what to do when I don’t want to use electronic devices. I have a tablet, kindle and a PC which I spend pretty much all of my free time on. Sometimes these can get boring and I have a major youtube/ifunny addiction. People normally find playing outside very fun, but I just see it as a way to get injured and do physical work for absolutely no reason (though i do like biking). I absolutely hate watching sports on TV like football, but I will play when my friends are over. Also, the reason I spend more time on computers is because I feel they create a whole new, more action filled world with events that usually happen in the real world. I usually like art and I am currently working on a painting, but I cannot spend a whole evening on it. I do not really have any good friends that live nearby. If anyone can give me some ideas on what I can do without all of my devices it would be much appreciated.
(by the way, I still get straight-A’s)
(By the way, I still get straight
Here are some more stuffs you can do, hope this helped 🙂
Go to the park, beach or mall
Watch TV, Family guy, American Dad
Bake cookies, Listen to music
Read one of your favorite books or poems
Write a story, Draw a picture.
Text friends
Prank numbers for fun
Learn how to play guitar or piano
Find something that you enjoy doing……

I am a senior in high school and would really love to attend the University of Notre Dame. I plan on applying there, but I don’t know whether to apply for Early Action or Regular Decision. The main reason is because I am taking the SATs again on October 1st and want to get my score as high as possible. My first SAT was in January, and my was a 1750 (630- Math, 550- Reading, 570 Writing). That’s not bad but on CollegeBoard its says that the average Notre Dame students scores a mid-600. The SAT scores won’t be released before November 1st either, which is the deadline for Early Action. I am in the top 5% of my class, taken almost all Honors/AP classes, a varsity football player, sports editor for the school newspaper, hold a part-time job, and over 60 hours of community service. So basically my question is should I apply for Early Action or wait for my SAT scores from October, which will most likely be a little higher, and apply for Regular Decision?
SAT scores take about 3 weeks to get, so if you’re taking the October 1st SAT you should get your scores before Nov 1. If the colleges you are applying to have early action, I would definitely recommend doing that. You are not binded plus it shows that you have a great interest in attending.

I have been told when watching sports or fast action scenes that sometimes there is an ghostly image that TVs will get but I have not experienced this at all. I also do not really see a difference on my 60 hz sharp aquas and my cousins 120 hz samsung and neither does he why is this?
Yes, it’s biology.
Your eye has a framerate of 60Hz. Therefore anything past that you simply don’t have the capacity to notice.
Really 120Hz is a waste of your wallet girth, sorry bud.

I am very bad a sports and I heard that playing video and computer games can help me become more athletic and play better. Does it really help?
You might be able to try and mimic their techniques for like shooting a ball/kicking a ball or something, but the best thing to do would be to practice in real life.
The only thing I could see video games helping in would be strategy like being able to position your teammates and tell them where to go/what to do at what time to make the best play possible, but otherwise I don’t see a huge benefit.
I’m just saying this, but maybe the reason you’re not good at sports is because you think playing them on a video game would make you better at them? I mean I love games, don’t get me wrong, but I also play High School varsity soccer and I know there’s no way in hell I’d be as good as I am without having practiced and played in real life, and I know I wouldn’t even be able to dribble/kick the ball if I attempted to learn from a video game instead of learning from someone who knows how to do it and explain it (like another player/teammate or the coach) and being able to practice it over and over and over in real life.

I am looking to begin taking high quality sports action shots for my school. I would like to know what camera would be ideal for this, as well as what sort of lens. Prices would also be insanely helpful. I’d like to keep the pricing within reason, as it is a starting project.
A Nikon D3100 w/ a 55-200 or a Rebel T3 w/ a 55-250 would be a good start. There is no such thing as a camera that will guarantee you great pictures. Along with the camera, pick up a few basic photography books from your local library.
