I wanted to start my own paintball park. I know it costs money and you need a contract with the city, but should I make a paintball park in Chiefland? I don’t know if people living there will want to play paintball and I don’t want my money to go to waste.
Look, I know I need to buy paintbLL equipment, but I just want to know if anyone thinks the people in Chiefland will play paintball.
According to USA Today, Paintball is the fastest growing action sport in the US. From a financial standpoint I think anyone who is opening a paintball field is likely to do well. At this time I would say if you are ANYWHERE near people, you stand a good chance of being successful. I personally am willing to travel (and frequently do) as far as a 8 hour drive to get to a good field or game. I don’t think I’m alone in that. Good luck and I say "Go For It!"

My nephew is 9 and I’m trying to get him into the sport. I just introduced it to him and let him shoot some targets and stuff. He enjoyed it but it grew boring for him really quick. So what can I do to make it more fun for him?
Mitch, it does not sound like you really introduced him to paintball. Shooting at targets does get boring. But actually playing the game is totally different. Try taking him to a paintball park that allows 9 year olds and let him play with some other newbies, preferably kids and let him try it out.
Not all boys are into guns, or paintball type games. A lot of boys love the action and excitement and the thrill involved, but for other boys, thats just not their thing.
