Should I buy a Pair of Motorcross goggles with a built in 720p 8hr camera in it or should I get a GoPRO. I would probably be using this, essentially for Airsoft, Paintball and other outdoor recreation. The goggles are 15k and the GoPRO is 20k.
Get the GoPro Hero 2 for the best quality and clarity for filming actions sports…etc. The goggles will be a joke, dont waste your money. Browse the links below to check out the GoPros.
Good Luck!
I dont have a lot of money on hand and im looking for an enjoyable paintball experience with out getting slaughtered for not having any good gear so is there anywhere i can get some partially decent gear that will at least accomodate to the beginner at paintball??
ANS Gear and Action Village has great deals on starting set-ups and complete packages with free shipping.
Check your local Craigslist. There are always people selling their paintball gear for one reason or another — upgrading, getting out of the sport, etc.
eBay is decent but keep in mind that although some sellers may seem to offer lower prices, double check and see how much they are charging for shipping.

I have the Canon Rebel T1i, and I’m looking to take better pictures of outdoor sports as well as indoor events. I currently have the Canon EF-S 55-250mm f/1.4-5.6 IS, Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS, as well as a Canon EF 50mm f/1-1.8. Would a Speedlight be beneficial? Or more cost efficient?
It sounds like you have the lenses that should do the job. There are of course better faster lenses but they cost a ton of money. What I think you need to do is learn how to use your camera better. A good class in photography and some practice will improve your pictures.
The 55-250mm should do a fine job with outdoor sports during the day. You will have trouble with it indoors or at night because of the small aperture. The 50mm F1.8 should do a good job with indoor sports if you are reasonably close.
A flash is not recommended though. It would be completely useless with outdoor sports as the action would be too far away for the the flash to be effective. Indoors it would work if you were within about 30ft. but do you really want to be sending a bright flash in the athletes eyes over and over again. I think they might have a problem with that.
If you really want to upgrade lenses be prepared to lay out some serious cash. The 70-200mm F2.8 IS lens is nearly $2,000. A 50mm F1.2 is also nearly $2,000 and a 24-70mm F2.8 or 18-55mm F2.8 are over $1,000.

The local university has banned smoking on all areas of campus beginning Monday, including outdoors. Employees, students, and visitors will also be banned from smoking in their own cars while parked on campus. I can’t see how this law can be fully enforced, there are visitors to many sports games including football.
Well isn’t it hypocritical for the government to tax something and take the money and then ban it ?
Yes, and yes. And I am a smoker, though certainly not proud of it. It is VERY hypocritical of the government to take these actions, but they are inevitable. Most of the hospitals and universities in the state where I live have imposed similar smoking bans and I have no problems with that, nor with the ban in public offices. The only one that bothers me is the one in restaurants and bars – I believe that those should be by choice of the owner. Many bars and diners are suffering from loss of business because of the smoking ban. Yet smoking is allowed in the Indian-run casinos. It is not fair.
@ PIP – yes, we should make tobacco illegal, because making alcohol illegal worked out SOOOO well in the 20’s. Sheesh. You want to see crime increase tenfold? Make tobacco illegal.

Also, for mother daughter things, you and your mom could get any Legend of Zelda game. Puzzles and action, it’s a phenomenal series.
-P.S. Twilight Princess is a Zelda game for Wii.

I want to sell all types of extreme sport Equipment and also gear. But how i order it from other companies. should i order it in bulk or should i just list the product then when they buy a form is sent to the company then they send it to the person then i keep some of the money.
Usually the best way to start this type of business without having to stock inventory is by setting up a dropship ecommerce website. This is where you set up the sale with the customer and ask your wholesaler or dropshipper to ship the product directly to your customer. You collect the payment and pay your supplier their share from your customer.
As your store gets more established you can buy in bulk or perhaps get improved pricing for dropshipping the products.
Good Luck with your venture.
I’ve written a few articles on this subject that I have included in the source. There is also a hotlink to a dropship source at the end of the article.

I’m specifically talking about the video of Ara Abrahamian jumping down the podium and throwing his bronze medal on the floor.
As distasteful as his actions were, they are most definitely videoworthy and now seems like video sites like You Tube have removed the video claiming copyright, and on another site, it says it can only be viewed in Sweden.
What is this?
Are there any video sites that are free from copyright entanglements these days?
The televsions networks pay huge amounts of money for the rights to the games. Any unauthorized use of their images is not allowed. You will here and see an anouncement about this at the end of most televised sporting events.

I wanted to start my own paintball park. I know it costs money and you need a contract with the city, but should I make a paintball park in Chiefland? I don’t know if people living there will want to play paintball and I don’t want my money to go to waste.
Look, I know I need to buy paintbLL equipment, but I just want to know if anyone thinks the people in Chiefland will play paintball.
According to USA Today, Paintball is the fastest growing action sport in the US. From a financial standpoint I think anyone who is opening a paintball field is likely to do well. At this time I would say if you are ANYWHERE near people, you stand a good chance of being successful. I personally am willing to travel (and frequently do) as far as a 8 hour drive to get to a good field or game. I don’t think I’m alone in that. Good luck and I say "Go For It!"

I am planning to buy a good notebook PC and a PS3. I am investing about $2000 on my notebook PC as I need some portable and powerful machine. Desktops are not my first choice.
Is spending another $500 on PS3 or on XBOX 360 is better option? Does notebooks have better graphics than consoles?
I am going to play only FPS games like Call of Duty, Battlefield and some Action Sports like NFS etc.
Also GTA too.
Seriousley you can get a gaming laptop for much less… dont bother spending that much because it’ll be outdated in less than 2 years, If you need a laptop get one under $1k and get a ps3 (my choice because of no multiplayer fees) or xbox 360 because the games are optimized to work well on the console. I’d much prefer a desktop gaming machine as you will spend twice less money than a laptop and get triple the power!

I’m getting into sports photography at the semi-professional level and was wondering if anyone has used the Sigma 300mm f/2.8 lens. The price difference is over $1000 and I’ve heard at times that the Sigma lenses are much better than they were in the past. Anyone’s thoughts or comments?
I actually use that Sigma lens and can tell you that it is great, I shoot with a Nikon but it’s the same lens as it would be for Canon. Obviously if money is no object always go with the same manufacturer of your camera for your lenses but personally I would say this lens is well worth it especially if you need to watch your expenses. I shoot a lot of sports action and have no complaints about the Sigma lens at all.
