Is there a professional paintball league?
I am a hot and cold paintball player meaning that I get really into it for a few years and then really out. I know that my paintball magazine went bankrupt and I had heard that the nppl went bankrupt as well but now as i go on their website the chicago event is posted so what went down? what did I miss? What companies are still in business?
There are still several paintball leagues. The NPPL is still up and running, Colorado Crash just went the the Huntington Beach Event a few weeks ago. The PSP is still doing well too. The Galveston Event was hosted and I haven’t heard anything about either of them having troubles. It’s true, Smart Parts has been changed into GOG Paintball. You can still get Freak Kits though so no worries. It just came to my attention that Action Village is now out of business though. They have been foreclosed and a sale of all of their assets is coming up soon. I believe it is a hot topic on TechPB right now. Kee Action Sports has acquired a lot of the old major brands including Empire, JT, RPS, Invert, Pure Energy, and XO Industries. Paintball is still very much alive and well though, if you have anymore questions hit me up on our team website included in the sources.
