I’m intrested in photography and I am just wondering what camera you would recommend for a beginner? 10mp + please and the less the better.
I am aware of megapixels and I would like more than ten because my compact camera is 10.2 and if I’m getting a new camera for more money, I want it to be better than my current for a lot of reasons.

I don’t have any co2 and I’m playing around with it. Will it hurt it?

Hehe, answering your question again I guess.

The answer is no. It does not hurt your paintball gun to fire it without any gas, be it CO2 or HPA. All you’re really doing is manually pulling back on the hammer after each fire, an action that would be done automatically if there was pressure in the gun.

Maybe after a few thousand shots you’ll need to re-oil the internal parts. This is rather easy to do. All you’ll need is a small bottle of synthetic oil (not motor oil). Squirt a few drops into the ASA, tilt the gun around to get it to drip down into the hose and into the gun, connect your CO2 tank, and fire a couple of times. The gas forces the oil up and through the gun.

And to answer your previous question on where to fill up CO2 tanks, that really depends on your area. Some sporting good stores can do it such as Academy and Dicks Sporting Goods, but those stores are regional and not in every state or country. Any paintball store can refill a CO2 tank (or at least any paintball store worth a damn).

Just to add onto that, If you’re sure you want to use CO2, then you might want to look into getting a larger tank. Preferably a 20 ounce tank. Here’s the breakdown of how many shots you get per tank:

9oz = 300-500
12oz = 700-900
20 oz = 800-1000

The typical hopper holds about 150 to 200 paintballs. So using a 9 ounce tank you’ll be good on that. But if you ever want to bring more ammo with you on the field, you’ll probably need a larger tank.

Also note that whenever a CO2 tank is filled, it gets cold. Really cold. It’ll eventually warm back up to room temperature, but CO2 is a funny gas in that it gets cold when compressed and it gets cold again when it expands.

One of the many reasons why I don’t like CO2 is that it destroys O-rings. It destroys them by freezing them and they shatter like glass. You’ll need a moderate supply of spare tank O-rings to keep handy because they’ll shatter into pieces from time to time.They’re relatively inexpensive. Last time I checked they’re ten for two dollars or something like that.

Another reason why I don’t like CO2 is that it *can* have a similar effect to O-rings that are inside the gun itself. The gun can get really cold and condensation can start to form on the gun. Condensation in the barrel = water. Water in the barrel = bad news for paintballs.
When paintballs get wet they absorb water and swell up to larger sizes. Sizes that don’t fit your gun or barrel. When that happens, you’ll see a lot more paint breaks inside your gun.

I am new to photography, but I don’t want a cheap-o digital camera. I want a real one, not one that families might use for pictures to send to grandma. I would like it to not only be a good photo camera, but be able to take video for more than 30 seconds. Anyone have any suggestions?

Okay so I have a Sony Cyber-shot DSC-S780. It takes pretty decent pictures but when I take videos at concerts, the sound is horrible. I was looking at some live footage on YouTube and some people have cameras that have really good quality sound. I don’t want those beastly video cameras, just a digital camera. Any suggestions?

What is the difference between the Diablo Slayer and the Diablo Wrath? please list both good and bad about the guns. THANX 🙂
Please tell me which is better, Diablo Slayer or Diablo Wrath. What is the difference? Please pick one and tell me what is a must have for an upgrade on that gun. THANX 🙂

These models are closely related.

The differences:
The Slayer uses duckbill ASA, plastic grip frame, black grips, LED display and less milling on the body.

The Wrath uses a non-standard dovetail ASA, metal frame, clear grips, and LCD display (thus clear grips to see LCD).

The similarities:
Same barrel, feed neck, regulator, body (except the Wrath has some additional milling which is negligible to performance).

If you are choosing between the two – I’d opt for the Wrath since it has the LCD display and metal trigger frame.

Upgrades will depend on the Wrath that you get and personal preference but commonly done are bolt & board for higher ROF.

Bolt: Delrin or Teflon bolt and pin if you get the marker with the aluminum bolt. You can get these online from Alamo City Paintball. If you get a final generation or Wrath LTD then it has a plastic bolt with is comparable to Delrin.

Boards: If you get the BD5 board, it’s okay but hard to reach past 10bps. You will probably need to look at the Scenario Dreams T-Board for about $60 or Virtue for about $135 or get the R15 board from Kee Action Sports (will work with stock LCD unlike aftermarket boards) for about $65. There is also the Lucky Board but that is pretty rare to find. Stock BD5+ will be better but some still upgrade from that one to the aftermarket ones listed above. If you get the R15 off the bat, you’re good since it’s as good as the aftermarket boards. FYI – Stock board model will display on LCD when first turned on.
