Express Action Sports

I would recommend the Atari VCS for people who like retro games
For the person who likes sports games I’d suggest the PS1

NBA Jam came out for the Snes so for sports I would recommend that for "Starting Gamers"

For RPG Gamers the Snes and PS1 had more RPGs then the xbox, xbox,360, gba, nds, 3ds, wii, wiiu, and ps3 combined.

For shooters I would recommend Golden Eye on the N64 since it’s what sent the FPS from indie to mainstream.

For Online gamers I would recommend PC because it supports every MMO out there.

For Platformers I would make them go back to their roots with either sonic on sega or mario on the NES

For Turn Based Strategy I would send them back to basics with Shining Force on the SEGA

For Survival Horror I would put them on the PS1 for Resident Evil 2.

For action adventure Link holds the crown on the N64.

For racing Gran Turismo 1 on the ps1 would be a good start.

if so i’m planning to buy PlayStation 3

i think PC’s are better for strategy and management games, but consoles are better for action, adventure and sports games.

I am hopefully getting an XBOX 360,what games do you suggest?

Hmm. Ignore that person with the huge games list, the majorty of those games are rated M.

I would suggest some racing games too, such as Forza Motorsport 2 and Project Gotham Racing 4. If you are looking for teen games, try MX vs. ATV: Untamed, NHL 09.

The majority of the better games are a higher rating then T for teen, so those are the only ones that I could come up with off the top of my head. Sorry.

I’m looking for a new game to play. However, I don’t like sports/racing games. Action, Adventure, Fantasy are all good for me.

I would prefer if I could play as a girl, but if the game has a male lead, that’s fine too.

I’ve played Dungeon Siege: Throne of Agony, Sims 2 (and related expansions).

The action packed games are quicker and have more flashing images than sports games. This may be a sign of slight epilepsy. You may want to ask a doctor because it can lead to headaches or migraines or seizures (if it a bad case). You will not be able to get the right answer from anyone on here.

I mean they have been way too many of these games and we need more games aren’t shooters like rpg , side scrollers , platformers , action adventure , racing , sports , other types of games that was killing this generation for me because developers is focusing one thing is shooters and they know easy to make and there the money is because people of today only play is shooters nothing else which sucks back then people played different type of games not just shooters which people do nowadays .

Before i played Warcraft, Starcraft, Age of Empires 1&2, Stronghold 2, Rise of Nations, Age of Mythology

There were many Strategies but now there are more Turn Strategies rather then RTS’s
Like recent RTSs are Starcraft 2 and AOE3

Yes there are other genre, like Total War, Civilization, Action WW2 games but no RTS

Everything will be ok, with RPG, Action games, Racing, Sport games(come out annually)

BUT NOT STRATEGIES, PEOPLE just became d*mn
So now i play RTS’s on those 2007-2009 graphics

Examples are: Bullet Witch, Bayonetta, Alias, Buffy The Vampire Slayer etc, (Action Adventure, Fighting) they don’t need to be Gothic related. For X360, XBOX, or PS2, no PC, PSP or PS3 games. No FPS, Sport-Fighting or RPG games, unless the RPG game isn’t actual Role-Play style.

I have a PS3. Is Dead Space worth the money? I have four sports games at the moment and have already traded in my GTA IV. I’m looking for an action/adventure shooter. Thanks

Dead space is actually a really great game. Its not like one of those shooters that your all geared up for, its just the opposite.

Your basically a mechanic on a space ship and has to survive and adapt. It has really great game play, but one thing I don’t like is the parts that have Zero-gravity. It feels like your trying to swim in sand, (maybe that’s just me).

Also if your looking for action/shooter, Fallout 3 is amazing. You should check it out.

I am a hardcore video game player and I have played almost every genre available. My favorite ones are action, adventure, and RPG’s. However, I can not understand why sports games like Madden and NBA 2k-whatever are being hailed as some of the "best" games ever created. Most places, in this day and age, would almost NEVER consider a sports game to be game of the year. My thinking is why would you play it on a console when you can just go outside or to a gym to play the sport. I just want some reasonings why someone would love this genre and PLEASE do not just say it is because of their tastes.

I completely agree with you on this one buddy, I play video games to shoot the fuck out of aliens, or fly like a superhero, or something interactive that’s very fun, to be out of the ordinary and not something you could just go out and do in real life.

So I suppose if you’re that much of a fat loser that there’s no chance you could ever play any sport, then maybe sport games would be up your aisle 😀
