Express Action Sports

i think so. it seems to be mainly fps and action adventure games now. but back in the day, there were combat flight sims, rpg (3 or 4 diff styles) as well as the great games of sierra, real time and turn based strategy etc, etc, etc.

just seems like a shame that most of todays games look/play almost exactly the same.

Not all of them. FPS games and sports games all look very similar obviously, but you find more diversity if you take the time to look at every games released in the last 5 years. It’s just because FPS games are the most popular right now and we are seeing a flood of them.

Ok so I am thinking of getting PC video game equiptment because my friends recomend it and i was what controllers would work and how to use use them on a PC. Alot of websites say to use xbox 360 or ps3 controllers and give a long list of downloads and requirements for them. Is there just an easy and simple way to get a controller and use it without having to download or buy new software? And which would work better… a regular pc, xbox, or ps3 controller?

The Xbox 360 controller is definitely the best! Any game with the "Games For Windows" label on the box will work with the controller by default & older games require a program like xpadder, but they’re easy to use.

Also, don’t let people tell you that the mouse and keyboard are always better, because that is a false statement. I guarantee any sports, racing, or action/adventure games will be better with a controller. Mouse and keyboards should only be used for shooters and role playing games.

Oh & to get the 360 controller to work you either have to buy a wired one and plug it into your USB port or you can buy a receiver for a wireless one.

im into like adventure/action and sport games. i want to get some brand new games with great graphics and good quality. if u know of some please just list a few.thanks!

Uncharted Drakes Fortune
Metal Gear Solid series

All of the games that I listed are action/adventure games and they will be better than any Sports game.

I don’t know how people that play sports games can buy a game like Madden 08′ and basically buy the same game next year (Madden 09′) with a few new features… it’s just a waste of money. At least with Action/Adventure games, each game is a "new" journey, a "new" adventure and a "new" experience.
