Women: What is your opinion for guys who do extreme sports?
Before saying anything I have to tell you that there are even women who do this kind of extreme sports. To be more specific, soon after I do some skydiving jumps I am planning to start BASE jumping. What would women believe about me once I tell them I am this kind of person? Would they go away just so they don`t feel guilty if I ever die in one of the jumps?

Every once in a while would be fine but I personally would be a ball of nerves if he did it as a job and I might go away. Especially if we have kids together, I think once a person becomes a parent they need to restrict their risky behaviour because it’s not just about them. I wouldn’t think anything about his character except that he likes adrenaline ridden activities.

What is so extreme about skydiving? Is it any more dangerous than driving my vehicle during rush hour? I think not. I had a chute fail on me and I’m still here (deployed reserve chute). Whenever I had told women about it, most seemed quite interested. Haven’t jumped in a long time though. Most deaths/injuries in skydiving are due to operator error or hot-dogging.
Now, BASE jumping is dangerous. Low altitude, only one chance to deploy a chute, confined areas.

The only extreme sport I find truly fascinating is parkour, and I don’t know if that’s considered an extreme sport. I wouldn’t bother with a guy whose most consuming interest was any extreme sport, except possibly that one.
