Why are American sports dominated by sports that no one else gives a hoot about?
Baseball, football, basketball…
I really noticed this when, at work a lot of Europeans visited and they all talked about soccer, bike racing, extreme sports of all kinds. It was actually interesting hearing intelligent conversation about other sports for once, besides the stupid apes in America who chase a ball around like retards.
This was like a year ago, before the World Cup Soccer tournament too.
There are basketball leagues all over Europe, so I guess that blows a hole in your position.
And honestly, your oh so eloquent "chase a ball around like retards" bit can just as easily be said about soccer.

Because soccer is the most popular sport in the world, not in the USA. USA doesn’t give a shyt about soccer, its all about football,basketball,baseball here in the USA. That’s the culture here. But soccer remains in the top worldwide. Why? Because its the shyt

First off, America dominates the sports world. Sure, the Norwegians win a goofy winter Olympic sport of skiing cross-county then shooting a rifle at a target — we give them that. And as long as they specialize, they have a chance at a medal. Same with bocce ball, darts, throwing logs, and the other sports that THEY make up.
We’ll stick to ours, and give them a chance at theirs.
