Follow your Path to Extreme Sports

If you enjoy taking risks and having a good time appreciating the thrills of nature’s beauty, you probably like to Surf. If this is the case, there are some great surf videos that have awesome waves and surf tricks, displaying the killer California surf, man. You might also be interested in Surf Wear like Sunglasses and Surf Truncks that will make your ride perfect. If you are a regular surf champ, there are some awesome surf facts that you should know. Back on the early days of California surf, a group of friends would pile into a car and head off to search for waves together.

As airplane travel became affordable in the sixties, surfers would toss their long boards on a flight to Hawaii and share a beater and flophouse North Shore housing for their first taste of a ‘surf safari.’

Then, in the seventies, groups of traveling surfers used freighters, sailboats and exotic Third World modes of transportation to locate and surf new spots. During the 1980’s and 1990’s surf camps appeared in remote locations where surfers could take their friends and wives and enjoy a feeling of genteel exploration while surfing un crowded waves.

Additionally, as technology and the internet have opened the world to easier access of information, surfers have used more and more high-tech methods to achieve essentially the same thing as the early travelers, to surf with your buddies in an uncrowded environment.

You probably are aware that surfing spots are crowded and will get worse and worse in the future. To find previously waves that have not been ridden waves in California today, you need a good boat, and we’ve found one. The ” Condor Express” is a 75′ aluminum jet-drive rocket ship that will easily do thirty five knots.

Even if we are using a high-tech catamaran and PWCs to access these remote waves, it’s essentially all about the adventure-the ‘aloha spirit’ of our film crew and tow-surfers getting together, sharing the whole experience with anyone interested.

When big swells hit California, we’ll be on the Condor with some tow-surfing teams and a film crew. When we return we’ll post our images, videoclips and stories on this site so you can share the adventure. Anything that pushes you to the beach is just fine.

It doesn’t matter if you’re bodysurfing, bodyboarding, windsurfing, kiteboarding, foilboarding, surfing or towsurfing, it’s all the same thing.

It pushes you to the beach, and that’s what it’s all about. Now we have satellite based surfing forecasts, live surf cams and guys flying personal helicopters to inaccessible spots in order to achieve the same objective. Surfers now scour the world looking for not only the perfect wave but the biggest wave.

Help me with my essay, please?
I have an essay for an internship with a local hospital. Is my dream to be a doctor – and this internship would be a huuuge help.
Could someone edit this? Or, even just a sentence or a paragraph?

Throughout my community, I am known as an all-around role-model. I spend time volunteering with children in my church, I approach everything I do with an open-minded attitude, and I take time to enjoy the little things in life. I am a determined student, driven volunteer, and a caring friend. An aspect that separates me from most, though, is my passion for life – my passion for what I do.
In school, I take as many honors classes as possible, along with two languages. This represents my ambition and determination to succeed – even when faced with high levels of stress or a busy week. I’ve always enjoyed school, but I take pride in learning, as well. I do not believe that it is always about getting the “A” on the test, but more so in your understanding of the material. I have always been one to review and relearn what had been marked incorrect on a test. I’ve spent many weekends studying ahead in textbooks, just to be prepared for the upcoming week. I am truly dedicated and determined to learn, for I have a unique passion for the attainment of knowledge.
Not only do I hold a passion for textbook-based learning, but I also find extreme pleasure in learning outside of the classroom. I volunteer my study hall period, accompanied by after school hours, and extra time on sports’ game days, with my high school’s athletic trainer. I have learned the basics of kinesiology, basic medical equipment, terms, and techniques, along with interpersonal relationships in a medicinal setting. I have been able to spend actual time working with athletes, interpreting their injuries or ailments and coming up with potential remedies. Although my only experience in the medical field has been in sports medicine, it would be my dream to participate in the Pennsylvania Youth Apprenticeship Program in order to open up doors to the medical field that I would have never had access to without the help of PYAP.
I would be described by most as an outgoing, loyal, and considerate friend. I am well-known for my ability to bring joy to any situation, yet I am able to be sincere and honest. I find happiness in little things, and I believe in taking time to enjoy life, for it is much too short to be unhappy. I spend time doing the things I enjoy, yet I still make an effort to complete (and enjoy) tasks that I find less enjoyable. This is another major reason why I would love to be a part of the Pennsylvania Youth Apprenticeship Program. From watching episodes of Grey’s Anatomy to assisting my high school’s athletic trainer, I have always received a sense of euphoria. Participating with PYAP isn’t simply another item to add to a list of accomplishments; entering the medical field has been a dream of mine since I was a young girl putting Band-Aids on the neighborhood children. I have always felt that I belong somewhere in the medical field, and I am hoping that PYAP will give the opportunity to explore medicine and its many aspects to help determine a future career path for me.
In the future, I plan to graduate high school in 2013 and attend college the following autumn, completing undergraduate requirements, along with attending graduate school in order to prepare me for a career in the medical field – perhaps serving as a doctor, internationally, in order to incorporate my language studies. I am confident that the Pennsylvania Youth Apprenticeship Program will give me the tools and opportunities to succeed in my future, and I am confident in my abilities as a student, including my professionalism, integrity, dedication, amiability, and fine communication skills.
If given the opportunity to work with the Pennsylvania Youth Apprenticeship Program, my endeavors in the medical field will be guided and enhanced, allowing for me to unlock my full potential as a student, and providing me with an opportunity of a lifetime.

    Thank you all <33

You write very well. I looked carefully at the first two paragraphs and didn’t see any mistakes. I think this essay will give a very good impression of a high school student.
