    No, he started …
No, he started rallying in a subaru wrx. He has never ever been a drifter. Drifting uses REAR WHEEL DRIVE cars. Ken block drives 4wd cars. Rally = 4wd. Drifting = Rear wheel drive. Get it?

And added on top of …
And added on top of that, he is not even a competitor when it comes to the rally driving he attempts to do.

You and the guy you …
You and the guy you replied to pretty much sum up Ken Block’s fan base. Clueless idiots who know nothing about motor sport. Ken Block is a rally driver, not a drifter.

    i dont know if …
i dont know if calling ken block a “drifter”, i’ve never see him drifting a car, he does more powerslides than drifts, he does gymkhana to be precise, and he’s very good at it. I like him, but i dont see him as a drifter per se…

As much as I like Ken Block, he seems to be the only drifter anyone knows of. I personally hardly know any drifter but Ken Block isn’t the only one nor is he the best.

two ways to look at …
two ways to look at “commercial drifting”….1) it’s too mainstream and they are “selling out”….or 2) They are putting on an event to draw-in some big crowds and show how fun the sport of drifting can be; thus expanding the fanbase and helping the sport grow.
