What is typical basic high speed video setup used for filming most smooth slow motion field sports.?

I would like to know what a basic setup consists of if wanting to film Action Sports in at a high frame-rate resulting in ultra smooth slow-motion playback. Specifics would be nice such as camera models and lenses. 🙂

Unless you are using one of Panasonics HD video cameras, the only cameras that can do high speed motion picture (slo-mo) are made by Casio
