What is better for sniping in paintball pump action or semi-auto?

A ball being loaded slower won’t affect accuracy. Not to mention that there is no such thing as a sniper in the sport of paintball.

Each marker is shooting under 300 fps and will all go the same distance, and since they are round projectiles, rifled barrels will not work AT ALL.

However, Tiberious Arms invented a paintball with these little fins called ‘First Strike’ rounds. They only work on the Tiberious T9 but they are way more accurate than regular paint. They also work in the Empire Traccer pump marker, but you have to manually load each round which is kind of cool if you like the whole sniper milsim idea.

Make no difference if it’s pump or semi-auto. All paintball guns have to be set to a fixed velocity which is usually around 290fps, so all the paintball makers will go about the same distance as other markers.
So there is really no such thing as "sniping" in paintball so it better to go for accuracy, and if its accuracy that your going for, pump helps a lot with that, but you can use a semi-auto markers tactically which works also.

Pump action but purely because of the fact that it takes longer for each ball to be fired so the balls are more likely to go where you shoot them.

You can be effective using either… it just depends on how effective you are with that particular style paintball gun. I would think in terms of just reducing the sound of your movement, semi-auto would probably be best..
