PAINTBALL: What does Empire have to do with BT?

Hey, I have a BT Omega and I immediately noticed when I got it that on the plate that says BT OMEGA there’s the Empire paintball logo… why? Can anyone tell me why? Just curious… I mean I thought Empire and BT were two VERY different companies??? Does anyone know what they have to do with each other? Thanks!

Empire and BT are both owned by Kee Action Sports. In fact the BT tm7 and tm15 are nothing more than invert mini’s with a different body.
