is the fuji HS10 good for action SPORT? this is ONLY WOT im gonna use it for as i use g11 for everythin else?
g11 just lacks the zoom so i want a DECENT camera with zoom and good quality images for ”sports” would you the fuji hs10 720mm zoom???
i need fast shutter speed aswell….(i dont like dslr’s so pls dont suggest any)
The HS10 will certainly give you the reach you need to shoot sports and using the camera in the shutter priority mode with the shutter speed set to at least 1/2000th second, you should be able to get good sports shots without spending $1,000 for a dSLR and another $10,000 for a 400 mm f/2.8 lens.
The only thing that may frustrate you is the shutter lag found on most P&S cameras and the small sensor will reduce the largest image size you can print.
Other than those two things, the HS10 is an excellent choice

Why don’t you just buy the telephoto adapter for your canon? Canon’s are usually the best for action & your G11 gives you the opportunity to adapt to that environment perfectly.
