how good is 15x optical zoom?

how good is it for Nikon L110

, it has 12.1 megapixels
15x optical zoom
3 inch lcd screen
i just want to know how good is the zoom on it and the quality, i want to be able to use it for good sporting images so i can zoom in close and get good action shots

I don’t have a Nikon L110, but 15x optical zoom seems pretty good.

    15 x optical zoom does zoom in pretty far, but zooming in pretty far causes camera shake and if you want action shots you need a fast shutter speed, liklihood is you will need a lot of light and a tripod!
