Which of these 2 TVS will have the better picture?
Vizio 32" LCD 60 hz 1080p or Samsung 51" plasma 600 hz 720p? Both are comparable price. The Samsung is much larger obviously, plasma w/ much higher refresh rate, but is only 720p so I’m not sure. I will be using this TV for dramas, action, sports, and gaming and want the highest quality picture.
Well, without a doubt 1080p is better than 720p. Keep in mind however that this is only a slight difference and is only noticed if you TV is over 42" If it is less than 720p and 1080p looks exactly the same. Samsung is usually a superior brand to Vizio. I know you want to know about the picture quality but 720p is still exceptional quality and Sunday Football would look great with a 50" TV. Make sure you have an HD package with your cable company because if you don’t they will both look have the bad quality. Go with your gut and happy choosing!

Anything over 40 inches, you want 1080p.. However, I would pick a Samsung over a Vizio anyday..!! Look for a Samsung 1080p..

all the other answers go for Samsung but I have 3 vizio tv’s and they have very good picture quality and I have a inch that is 720 it’s still good. The 1080P is better but the refresh rate on the samsung is better. But the human eye can’t see the difference between 120 to 240. But it can see 60 to 120. If I were you I’d go with the vizio.
