Newton’s Laws of Motion examples relating to amusement park, race track, and sports game?
I need to have 3 examples for each law and how it works relating to an amusement park, race track, and sports game. Much help is appreciated! Thanks.
Newton’s first law reads, " Every object in a state of uniform motion tends to remain in that state of motion unless an external force is applied to it."
The race track is the easiest example. It takes a lot of energy to get a race car moving if it is standing still. Once it is going at a high rate of speed, it takes a lot of breaking power and a long distance for the race car to stop.
Newton’s third law reads, "For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction."
Next lets look at a jet plane. Jet engines work, because the aircraft goes in the opposite direction of the flow of air through the engines. The speed is in direct proportion to the pressure of the air going out of the back of the engines.
I can’t think of an example at an amusement park.
I know you want 3 examples for each law, but I can only think of a couple. Sorry.
