Not really. It’d have to be point blank on bare skin to “hurt”. On loose clothing you’ll barely feel it. There’s a wide range in the strength of airsoft guns though. Some shoot under 200 fps. Some shoot almost 500 fps. The one’s up there at about 480 fps, might sting for a split second on bare skin. But they won’t leave a welt like some paint ball guns will as the bb’s are too light. Some are plastic, some are biodegradable. Projectile force is a function of WEIGHT or MASS X ACCELERATION Squared
