Are violent video games bad for children (ages 10+)?
I played Violent Video Games at 10 years old and I turned out fine.
I think it’s depends on the maturity of the 10 year old. What do you think?
Definitely depends on the maturity level. If the child can handle it, or will grow up wanting to shoot people and join the army.

Society doesn’t know… There are strong opinions (both rational and irrational) on both sides, however, I believe they have the potential to do bad to some people, but not most. This is by no means scientific, but similar in a way drugs (i.e. pot) can set off mental illness in some, but others can be just fine.

no. it depends on how mature the kid is if they think the videogame is for real and like grows up killing people or himself/herself then thats the only violent reasons i mean people blame violence on videogames but what they dont know is it mostly isn;t the videogame but their own little problems in life like family problems or w.e
videogames are never too violent i played videogames when i was like 5 or 6. i got my first console. and their pretty much violence in rated E games as well it might not be major but it’s still violent.

ive played violent video games for a good chunk o my life, since i was around 4 to be precise, ive grown up seeing death and killing as a bad thing, and dont want to go on a real life killing spree, so no, they aren’t bad for children, but for mentally unstable children or easily impressionable children yes, obviously
